Terms of Service

The terms for using STS POS, creating an owner account, and subscribing to our software.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. About STS POS

STS POS is provided by Silver-Tech Solution LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms apply to our website, owner accounts, and STS POS software and services. You must have authority to act for the business whose account you create. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@stspos.com.

2. Current availability

STS POS is in early access. The current Windows development release includes checkout, inventory, promotions, staff permissions, receipts, and reports. Some capabilities, including live payment-terminal connections, paid checkout, and customer device activation, are still being developed. A feature described as planned or coming soon is not part of an available service until we release it.

Creating an account, saving a store, choosing a device quantity, or saving a promo code does not purchase a subscription or grant a device license. No paid subscription starts without a checkout process that states the price and obtains your agreement.

3. Your account and store data

Provide accurate business and contact information, verify your email, and protect your password and staff access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain ownership of the business data you submit. You authorize us and our service providers to process that data as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service. Our Privacy Policy explains this processing. You are responsible for having permission to submit staff and other personal information.

4. Subscriptions and device licenses

Our published prices are $39.99 per device per month or $439.99 per device per year, in USD. Yearly plans are billed for the full year. The total depends on the number of devices selected; applicable taxes and the final total will be disclosed before payment.

When paid activation is available, each licensed device permits one activated POS register. A subscription provides permission to use the software for your business during its covered period; it does not transfer ownership of the software. Do not share activation credentials to exceed your licensed device quantity or resell our software without a separate agreement.

Recurring plans renew for the billing period shown at checkout unless canceled. The checkout must disclose the amount, frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method before you agree. We will provide notice of price changes affecting future renewals before they take effect. Device or plan changes and any resulting charges must be presented before confirmation.

5. Promotional offers

Friends-and-family offers are available only to customer accounts we approve by email. The current offer gives 100% off the first subscription payment: the first month for a monthly plan or the first year for a yearly plan. Later payments use the regular subscription price disclosed at checkout unless you cancel before renewal.

A saved promo is not a payment, a redemption, or an activated license. Eligibility must be checked again when checkout is available. The offer has no cash value and does not make an existing subscription’s renewals free.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription to stop future renewals using the billing-management method provided with your purchase or by contacting support@stspos.com. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Unless a refund or another stated condition ends access earlier, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

We offer a refund of the first subscription purchase when requested within 14 calendar days. See the separate Refund Policy for the request process and exclusions. Rights that cannot be limited under applicable law remain unaffected.

If a purchase is processed by a merchant of record such as Paddle, that seller’s applicable buyer terms and refund rules also apply to the transaction. The seller and payment terms will be identified at checkout.

7. Responsible use and compatibility

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another business’s data, bypass account security or licensing, distribute malicious software, or interfere with the service. You are responsible for your store’s products, prices, taxes, staff permissions, transactions, and required business records.

Check compatibility with your Windows register, barcode scanner, receipt printer, cash drawer, and any payment equipment before relying on them in your store. Payment simulators are for testing and do not move money. Keep appropriate business backups and verify critical operations before production use.

8. Service changes and interruptions

We may maintain, update, or improve the service. Early-access software may contain defects or have incomplete features, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security threats, unlawful use, or a material breach of these terms. We will provide notice when practical and appropriate.

Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any separate written agreement with your business controls where it expressly replaces these terms.

9. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated before they apply, with any consent required by law.
