1. Who we are
Silver-Tech Solution LLC provides STS POS. This policy covers information handled through our website, owner accounts, and cloud services when enabled. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@stspos.com.
Store owners decide how to use STS POS in their businesses. If your question concerns a purchase from a retail store, contact that store. This website creates accounts for subscribing business owners, not shopper loyalty profiles.
2. Information we collect
- Account and business details: first and last name, email address, phone number, business name and type, business address, store details, email-verification status, and subscription or device selections.
- Authentication and security information: a protected password hash, session records, verification records, IP addresses, request information, and security or account-activity logs. We do not store your password as plain text.
- Support communications: contact-form submissions and information you send when asking for help, requesting a refund, or exercising a privacy right. We save inquiries for follow-up and send a notification to our support team.
- Subscription and device information: selected devices and promotional offers, and billing status or activation records when those services are enabled.
- Store data you choose to sync: when cloud synchronization is enabled, it may include products, inventory movements, sales and receipt records, staff accounts, register settings, and related operational records.
The current website does not collect payment-card numbers. When online billing is enabled, the payment provider identified at checkout will collect payment details under its own privacy notice. We may receive subscription status, transaction references, and other information needed to administer the purchase.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, save store settings, check approved promotional eligibility, provide enabled software and cloud functions, administer subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain records, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. With your permission, we use Google Ads to measure advertising on our public website. Ad personalization is disabled in our tag configuration. We do not use your store’s data to build shopper marketing profiles.
4. Cookies and technical information
The website uses essential cookies and session information to keep you signed in and protect account access. Your browser and our hosting services also exchange technical information needed to deliver pages and maintain security. Blocking essential cookies can prevent account login from working. You can manage cookies in your browser.
Optional Google Ads measurement cookies load only after you choose Accept measurement. Google may receive technical information such as IP address, browser information, advertising identifiers, and public page visits. You can reject optional cookies or change your choice using Cookie choices. Our tag does not intentionally send your account details, store records, or verification tokens, and is not loaded on account or administration pages. We honor supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. See how Google uses information from partner sites.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We use Microsoft Azure for website hosting, database services, and verification and contact-notification email delivery. Authorized service providers may process information needed to perform those services for us. A billing provider will be identified before you make a payment and may act as an independent seller or controller for its own transaction records.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect accounts and service security, or at your direction. Access to store data is intended to be limited to the relevant business’s authorized accounts and people who need it to provide support or operate the service.
6. Storage and security
Our current Azure hosting and database environment is located in the United States. Other service providers may process information in the countries where they operate. We use measures such as encrypted network connections, protected credentials, and access controls. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
The Windows register can store information locally, including while offline. Store owners are responsible for securing their computers and local backups. Cloud and local copies may have different retention periods.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and business records, investigate security issues, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable obligations. Some information may remain in restricted logs or backups after removal from active systems until those copies expire or can be deleted safely.
You can request account closure or deletion through support@stspos.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the business. Records subject to legal retention requirements or another permitted reason for retention may be kept, and deleting cloud data does not automatically remove copies stored on your register.
8. Your choices and rights
You can update supported business information in your owner account and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, or a copy of your information. Contact support@stspos.com to make a request or ask how it applies to your situation.
STS POS is a business service and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, contact us so we can investigate.
9. Policy updates
We will update this policy when our information practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required for a material change.
